THE BRA-CKETBOOK FOUNDATIONMy name is Rebecca and in 2007 I was stricken with breast cancer. Following surgery for a double mastectomy and reconstruction, I was committed to leading a normal lifestyle. I had to change some habits to achieve this. My diet restricts cancer-friendly foods. I exercise daily and practice yoga to keep toxins to a minimum. But more than this, I have begun to share my story with other breast cancer survivors. I am now committed to "Supporting the Cure". Starting as a cottage industry in my basement, I began to design pocketbooks from my bras. Whenever out carrying one, I would receive rave comments from others. Addingly, a dear friend of mine, Richard, encouraged (or should I say, made) me begin to design and assemble our Bra-cketbooks in South Carolina. Richard, being a life line of courage in this endeavor, was soon to become my partner. Our Bra-cketbooks are made from bras. They are embellished with designer trim that bring a smart, savvy appearance. The profits from the sale of Bra-cketbooks go to fight breast cancer. Thanking you in advance for your purchase in "Supporting The Cure". All the Bra-cketbooks are $130 with the exception of One-of-a-Finds (like a one-of-a-kind), those are $150 - no photos for those yet.
